Q & A with TEA

What inspired you to do photography?

I love being outside and found natural (outdoor) light photography came easy to me. I believe I can find beauty in anything. I enjoy traveling and exploring, so be prepared to discover amazing outdoor locations you didn’t know were so close to your home.

What kinds of pictures did you start out doing for clients?

I started off with senior pictures. There is something inspiring about the excitement seniors have about going into their final year of high school. I think it has to do with the pride in hard work finally paying off, and the anticipated reward of college and the rest of their lives still ahead of them. It’s impossible to work with them and not be affected by their joy.

How did you come up with your slogan?

I came up with “Focusing On Your Memories” after doing wedding photography. There are so many beautiful moments to capture, but in between photos I get to hear about their love story. It is so touching to be able to be a part of the most important day of their lives and know that when they go back to reminisce years later it will be the photos I took that they will be looking at.
